Worried about your dog making a run for it while you're at work? Tagg, a pet-tracking system from Snaptracs, can point you in the right direction should Fido break loose.

The Tagg tracker, which attaches to your dog's collar, tracks the dog's movements with GPS technology. If the dog wanders outside your pre-selected "safe" zones, the system will text or email you an alert and provide your dog's location.

The device has a trip button that lets you turn off the tracker when you take the dog for a walk or a car ride and an alert that lets you know when the rechargeable battery is running low.

The Tagg Master Kit, which includes a full year of service via the Verizon Wireless network, costs $200. Service the following year runs about $60. For more information, go to http://www.tagg.com.
