Boston • Looking to do something different for July 4 this year?

How about attending Boston's 30th annual Harborfest, which will be held June 29th through July 4 this year. The event celebrates America's rich colonial and maritime history.

More than 200 events are scheduled over six days, including historical reenactments, walking tours, sunset harbor cruises and free noontime concerts on City Hall Plaza.

Featured highlights this year include a children's day on June 30, the annual Chowderfest to determine the winner of Best New England Clam Chowder, the Extreme Sailing Series at Fan Pier on Boston Harbor, and The Redcoats Are Coming! on July 2, a day-long reenactment of the British invading Boston.

For more information, log on to www.bostonharborfest.com or look for the event on Twitter at @BOSHarborfest and @BOSChowderfest.
