LaMarcus Aldridge scored 24 points and Damian Lillard added 18, including a clinching 3-pointer with 38.5 seconds left, to lead the Portland Trail Blazers to a 105-94 win over the Jazz on Monday night at EnergySolutions Arena.

Utah and Portland battled to a 22-22 tie after the first quarter.

The Jazz took a quick 9-4 lead, but they converted only one of their next eight possessions. The Trail Blazers also had trouble scoring, however, and neither team could take control.

Trey Burke scored seven points for Utah while Aldridge had six on 3-for-8 shooting for Portland.

The Jazz owned a 35-34 lead with 4:55 left in the half before the Trail Blazers' high-powered offense finally started to clock. They converted eight of their final 11 possessions and grabbed a 51-45 lead.

In the third quarter, Portland owned a 64-57 lead. Nicolas Batum, Aldridge, Wesley Matthews and Robin Lopez scored during an 8-0 run.

Aldridge finished with eight points in the quarter, when Portland made 11 of its 18 shots and opened a 77-64 lead. The Jazz got as close as five, but Lillard's late three-pointer closed them out.
