First Published Mar 04 2013 02:31 pm • Last Updated Mar 06 2013 04:24 pm

Milwaukee • The Jazz overcame a 13-point second-half deficit, but couldn’t hold onto a lead in the final minute of the fourth quarter, eventually losing 109-108 to the Milwaukee Bucks in overtime.

Enes Kanter put back Paul Millsap’s missed 3-pointer with 1.6 seconds left, but the Jazz didn’t get another possession.

The Jazz were led by 23 points and 15 rebounds from Derrick Favors, despite the third-year forward not playing in the fourth quarter or overtime. Down the stretch, coach Tyrone Corbin stuck with the group that brought the Jazz back: Alec Burks, Gordon Hayward, Paul Millsap, Enes Kanter and DeMarre Carroll.

Paul Millsap also recorded a double-double with 22 poitns and 14 rebounds, while Alec Burks added 19 points and Kanter finished with 18 points and 10 rebounds.

But the Jazz were ultimately undone by free throws. Despite shooting 31 free throws (18 more than the Bucks) the Jazz missed crucial ones. With an opportunity to put the Jazz up four, Millsap split free throws with 14 seconds left in regulation. Then, with a chance to tie, Carroll split a pair with 34 seconds left in overtime.

The Jazz had four opportunities in the final 10 seconds, but twice lost the ball out of bounds, and missed two 3-pointers, one by Randy Foye.
