Nate Robinson scored 13 points and Taj Gibson added 10 to lead the Chicago Bulls to a 58-50 hjalftime lead over the Jazz on Friday night at EnergySolutions Arena.
Seeking their fourth straight win, the Jazz started quickly, converting four of their first possessions.
Paul Millsap scored 11 quick points and got Chicago’s Carlos Boozer in early foul trouble as Utah built a 23-18 lead.
The Jazz managed only one field goal in the final 4:48, however, and the Bulls rallied behind the play Gibson and Robinson.
Chicago took a 31-27 lead into the second quarter, which Robinson opened with eight points in the first 2:18. Boozer followed with a jumper over Enes Kanter to make it 41-31.
Utah did not get closer than eight the rest of the half.
