Randy Foye scored 20 points and Al Jefferson added 15 to lead the Utah Jazz to a 98-91 overtime victory over the Sacramento Kings on Monday night at Energy Solutions.

The Jazz started slowly and converted only three of their first 11 possessions.

Sacramento built a 16-8 lead before back-to-back three-point shots by Foye and Marvin Williams gives Utah some life.

It was 22-16 before the Jazz closed with baskets by Derrick Favors and Alec Burks, who buried a 15-foot baseline jumper as time expired.

In the second quarter, DeMarre Carroll and Enes Kanter helped Utah open a 29-24 lead.

The Jazz committed four turnovers on their next five possessions, but Favors stopped a run by the Kings with a three-point play.

Utah maintained a 44-34 lead with only 1:31 left in the half, but the Kings closed on a 9-0 run to stay close.

The bad news for Sacramento? As the teams were going to the locker room, DeMarcus Cousins was given his second technical foul and ejected from the game.

Sacramento, however, dominated most of the second half.

The Kings owned an 82-75 lead with just over four minutes before Utah rallied.

In fact, the Jazz took a 84-82 lead with 1:55 remaining but missed three long jumpers on their final three possessions.

In the overtime, Foye scored six points and Paul Millsap added four as Utah escaped with a hard-fought victory.
