Gerald Green’s team-high 20 points topped New Jersey.

Ex-Utah guard Deron Williams recorded 17 points but was just 7 of 21 from the field for the Nets (16-35).
Williams is a combined 10 of 36 with 10 turnovers this season during two games against his former team.
The Jazz’s (27-23) victory came one night after a 139-133 four-overtime loss to Atlanta.

The First: Nets 17, Jazz 15
Utah looks sluggish but New Jersey is even worse. The Jazz pull ahead, 11-3, before reserve Gerald Green guides the Nets on a 11-4 run. Green finishes the period with 12 points on 4-of-5 shooting.
The Second: Jazz 49, Nets 32
Reserves Alec Burks and Derrick Favors pick the Jazz up, and Utah sprints out on a 12-2 run. The Jazz’s lead swells to 44-26 before New Jersey wakes up again. Utah outscores Nets 34-15.

An 11-foot jumper by Williams pulls New Jersey within 72-69. Utah responds by digging in, with Al Jefferson, Paul Millsap and Devin Harris reigniting the Jazz.
