The First: Jazz 30, Spurs 26
Devin Harris’ 3-point shot triggers an 11-6 start by the Jazz. The Jazz continue to dominate and own a 22-15 lead before Matt Bonner comes off the bench and buries three 3-pointers in the final 3:36.
The Second: Spurs 56, Jazz 53
Alec Burks scored four points during an 8-2 run. The Jazz take a 40-32 lead but they fail to convert eight straight possessions and go scoreless for over four minutes. Bonner has 14 points at halftime.
The Third: Jazz 80, Spurs 80
Led by Josh Howard, the Jazz open on a 13-0 run and take a 66-56 lead. It’s 69-58 after Gordon Hayward’s dunk before the Spurs again start breaking down Utah’s defense with their pick-and-roll.
The Fourth: Spurs 106, Jazz 100
The Jazz convert four straight possessions and take a 96-94 lead with five minutes left. But the Spurs counter with six straight points, including Richard Jefferson’s long jumper that makes it 100-96.
