STEM Expo showcases Utah students' projects, demonstrations

Taha Abdallah ignites a balloon full of hydrogen gas Saturday after capturing it from a chemical reaction between muriatic acid and aluminum during the Utah STEM Expo ­(Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) at the South Towne Exposition Center on Saturday. The expo showcases original projects and demonstrations by Utah middle school and high school students in the STEM disciplines. For more information on the expo, visit http://www.utahstemexpo.org.
