Utah’s leading scorers on the year, Gordon Hayward and Burke, struggled to get going against the Clippers.
Burke and Hayward each had just two first half-points, waiting until the final 90 seconds of the half to score their first buckets. The Jazz duo finished a combined 7 of 25 from the floor for 21 points.
Favors, who had the game-winning put back Friday night against the Lakers, managed just four points and nine rebounds in 22 minutes Saturday.
Backup guard Alec Burks had eight points, five assists and three rebounds.
The Jazz now return to Salt Lake City for a rematch with Al Jefferson and the Charlotte Bobcats. Utah beat the ‘Cats 88-85 on the road earlier this month.
