A man and woman were hospitalized after their car turned in front of a pickup Friday evening at 7800 South and Utah Route 111 in West Jordan.

The woman was driving a small passenger car south on U111 and attempted to turn left onto 7800 South. She turned in front of a full-size pickup, which T-boned the car, said West Jordan police Sgt. Rich Bell. The male passenger in the car took the brunt of the impact and was pinned inside the vehicle. Rescue crews extracted him and he was flown to an area hospital. The driver was taken in an ambulance. None of the injuries was considered life-threatening, Bell said. No one in the pickup was injured. The crash was still under investigation.
