Prosecutors say a game of "spin the bottle" ended with a West Jordan man sexually assaulting two 13-year-old girls.

The 26-year-old man remained in Salt Lake County Jail on Friday in lieu of $100,000 bail, charged with two first-degree felony counts of rape of a child, one first-degree felony count of sodomy on a child and one second-degree count of sexual abuse of a child.

Third District Court documents allege that while playing the game with the girls on Feb. 1 inside a West Valley City motel room, the man began fondling one of the girls and then had intercourse with her. He then attempted to have sex with the second girl as well, prosecutors say. A March 1 arraignment has been scheduled.
