Three people were injured and hospitalized after a Friday morning crash at a Kearns intersection.
Unified Police Sgt. James Blanton said the westbound driver of a black Jeep Cherokee is believed to have run a red light at 5400 S. and 4220 West and then collided with two passenger cars.
The Jeep's driver, a woman in her mid-30s, was seriously injured; a man, also in his 30s, and a woman in her 60s suffered minor injuries in the other cars. Blanton did not have specific identities for those injured.
All three were transported to Intermountain Medical Center.
No citations were immediately issued, but the accident remained under investigation.
