Our best photos of the decade

Every day of the year, The Salt Lake Tribune photo staff take photographs that capture people, places and events in Utah.

Multiply 365 days by 10 years and that's a lot of photos.

Which is why it was no easy task for our photo staff to select the best of the decade.

But today we offer three of our favorites from the past as part of our monthly Picturing Utah feature.

We know we're not the only ones who can take great photos, so we invited readers to capture the last week of the 2010 in pictures. Those photos can be seen in our online gallery at http://bit.ly/aSo2mO.

Next month, the Picturing Utah topic will be Valentine's Day. Dig through your albums and send us personal photos that show love, chocolate or whatever this February holiday means to you. Send them to pixutah@sltrib.com before Wednesday, Feb. 9
