Sen. Bob Bennett left his now-empty Senate office for the last time Wednesday.

The three-term senator for Utah cast his last vote Wednesday — Congress is now adjourned until the next session starts Jan. 5 — and packed up a few jackets and two hats before turning off the lights to his office and walking out for the last time.

Bennett, who lost his re-election bid, said he wasn't saddened by leaving and is focusing on his future ventures. "I don't really have any nostalgia," he said, "because it's been clear this is happening for a long time."
