The Utah Museum of Natural History on the University of Utah campus is offering free admission Saturday through Monday, Dec. 4-6.

After four decades in the George Thomas Building, 1390 Presidents Circle, the museum will be closed after Dec. 31 in preparation for its move to the new Rio Tinto Center in Research Park. The freebie is a "thank you" for the community's past support, museum officials indicated in a news release.

Hours are Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; Sunday, noon to 5 p.m.; and Monday, 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Weekend activities include two performances of "The Dino Show: Live from Laramidia" on Saturday, and "Phun with Physics" on Monday evening. For more information, visit http://www.umnh.utah.edu/calendar.
