Utah schools that failed to meet No Child Left Behind goals

The following are Utah schools that did not make Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) under the federal No Child Left Behind education law in the 2009-10 academic year.

School names in bold type are facing varying levels of federal sanctions for failing to make AYP for at least two years in a row and because they receive Title I funding for disadvantaged students.

Some schools passed AYP this year (see note below) but still face sanctions because schools that are sanctioned must pass AYP for two consecutive years in order for sanctions to be lifted.

Alpine District

Box Elder District
