SLC police searching for bank robbery suspect

Police are searching for a man who robbed a Zions Bank at 1635 S. Redwood Road.

Salt Lake City police Sgt. Robin Snyder said the man presented a note to the teller about 11:30 a.m. indicating he had a gun. He left the bank and got into a taxicab. He was dropped off around 1500 S. Redwood Road.

A police news release describes the robber as a white male, heavyset and about 5 feet, 8 inches tall. He is between 40 and 50 years old. He was wearing a red shirt and a red bandana. People with information can call 801-799-3000 and reference case #2010-131159.
