For the past 16 years, the Park City Area Home Builders Association has hosted the Park City Area Showcase of Homes.

The idea is to recognize the builders, the architects and the interior designers of these homes, said Geri Strand, executive officer of the Park City Area Home Builders Association.

When » Friday, Aug. 29, 2-8 p.m.; Saturday, Sunday and Monday (Labor Day), Aug. 30-31 and Sept. 1, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Where » This year’s showcase will feature 19 homes throughout the Park City and Heber Valley areas.

Tickets » $12 in advance or online (plus service charge), $15 at the door or at several homes on the tour (credit card only); www.PCShowcaseOfHomes.com.

"Most of these are custom homes and some of them are for sale," Strand told The Park Record about the tour, which continues over the Labor Day holiday weekend. "[The tour] is a collaboration with all of them and, in some cases, the owners."
