An outdoor screening of "The LEGO Movie," the animated tale of a mini-fig (voiced by Chris Pratt) who learns he has a special destiny.

'Burt's Buzz'

'Ai Weiwei: The Fake Case'

The documentary "Ai Weiwei: The Fake Case," which profiles the Chinese artist/activist and the trumped-up lawsuit filed against him by Chinese authorities. Presented by the Utah Film Center and the Utah Museum of Fine Arts.

'SLC Punk!'

The 1999 rock comedy "SLC Punk!," about two outcasts (Matthew Lillard, Michael A. Goorgian) on alert against posers in '80s Salt Lake City. Chosen by an online poll, and presented by the Sundance Institute to conclude its summer outdoor screening series.

When • Wednesday, Aug. 27, 9 p.m.

Gangrene Film Festival

'Frozen'

The Utah State Capitol Preservation Board finishes its summer Movies Under the Stars series with an outdoor screening of Disney's "Frozen." The local music act Chad and Kristo will play before the movie, starting at 7:30 p.m. The movie starts at dusk, around 9 p.m.

'Hedwig and the Angry Inch'

The Tower's summer late-night series concludes with the 2001 rock musical "Hedwig and the Angry Inch," starring John Cameron Mitchell (who directed and adapted his off-Broadway play) as a transsexual East German rock diva. Live pre-show starts at 11:30 p.m.; movie starts at midnight.
