The third annual Blue Moon Festival, sponsored by Holladay Arts Council, will include live artist demonstrations, arts and crafts, and dancing and music with The African Showboyz from West Africa and the Beatles tribute band Imagine.

It takes place Friday from 5 to 10 p.m. at the commons behind Holladay City Hall, 4850 S. 2300 East.

Admission is free, but participants should bring their wallets to purchase locally grown produce from the community garden and satisfy their hunger with offerings from various food vendors.

Guests also will be able to quench their thirst at a beer and wine garden. Offerings include Blue Moon Belgian Ale and Utah wines from Castle Creek, the Hive, Iron Gate and Spanish Valley.

An activity center for children also is planned.
