Days of ‘47 Youth Parade and Family Festival » The annual Youth Parade and Family Festival take place in downtown Salt Lake City on Saturday. For more information on Days of ‘47 events, go to www.daysof47.com.

When and where:

» Youth Parade begins 10 a.m. Saturday at 600 East and 500 South and goes west to 500 South and 200 East, ending at Washington Square

» Family Festival goes from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at Washington Square

Admission: Free

Urban Arts Festival » This festival showcases hundreds of artists, performers and musicians along with skateboarding demonstrations, urban gardening demonstrations and more. Information, www.urbanartsfest.org/.

When: 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturday

Slide the City » Ride a thousand-foot-long slip-n-slide down Main Street on Salt Lake City’s Capitol Hill. Information, www.slidethecity.com/event/salt-lake-city.

Registration: Starts at $20 for sliding

Jiggle Fest » This celebration is dedicated to Utah’s favorite food — Jell-O — and its cousins such as funeral potatoes and fry sauce. Jell-O fights begin hourly starting at 10:30 a.m. Information, www.thanksgivingpoint.org/events/jigglefest.
