Days of '47 Youth Parade and Family Festival • The annual Youth Parade and Family Festival take place in downtown Salt Lake City on Saturday. For more information on Days of '47 events, go to www.daysof47.com.

When and where:

• Youth Parade begins 10 a.m. Saturday at 600 East and 500 South and goes west to 500 South and 200 East, ending at Washington Square

• Family Festival goes from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at Washington Square

Admission: Free

Urban Arts Festival • This festival showcases hundreds of artists, performers and musicians along with skateboarding demonstrations, urban gardening demonstrations and more. Information, www.urbanartsfest.org/.

When: 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturday

Where: The Gateway, 400 W. 100 South

Admission: Free

Slide the City • Ride a thousand-foot-long slip-n-slide down Main Street on Salt Lake City's Capitol Hill. Information, www.slidethecity.com/event/salt-lake-city.

When: Noon-7 p.m. Saturday

Where: Main Street between North Temple and 300 North

Registration: Starts at $20 for sliding
