Where: Salt Palace Convention Center, (5-10 p.m. Friday is a street festival and fireworks at The Gateway Mall, 400 W. 100 South)

Admission: $60 three-day adult (16 and older) pass, $40 Friday only, $40 Saturday only; $30 three-day youth (ages 11-15), Friday only $15, Saturday only $20; discounts for college students, military and teachers

Cedar Breaks 9th Annual Wildflower Festival • Guided hikes are offered twice daily from the visitor center at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. or you can go on self-guided walks with a handout. Information, www.nps.gov/cebr/wildflower-festival.htm.

When: Saturday through July 20

Where: Cedar Breaks National Monument, Brian Head

Admission: Included with park admission of $4 per person age 16 or older

Utah National Guard 23rd Army Band Concert • The band’s annual patriotic concert is open to all ages. No tickets are needed.

When: 7:30 p.m. Saturday
