2014 Utah Arts Festival • This year’s festival features more than 160 visual arts and 100-plus performing arts groups. Information, www.uaf.org.

Admission: $12 at the gate, $30 for a four-day pass, free for children 12 and under

2014 Warriors Over the Wasatch • This Hill Air Force Base open house and air show featuring the Thunderbirds



Aerial Demonstration Squadron and other aerial performers is expected to draw 400,000 visitors over two days. Information, www.hill.af.mil/warriorsoverthewasatch/.

When: Gates open 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, performances begin 10 a.m.

Where: Hill Air Force Base, Davis County

Admission: Free

When: 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday and Saturday
