Wednesday garden talks in Salt Lake City

Learn about gardening, landscaping and more during the free one-hour garden talks that take place Wednesdays at 8 p.m. in the Brigham Young Historic Park. (August classes start at 7:30 p.m.) In case of inclement weather, talks will be held on the 10th floor of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building.

‘Banana Cabana’ tour comes to Utah.

Sample banana smoothies and desserts, get recipes and win prizes during The Peel the Love "Banana Cabana" tour. The Peel the Love Truck will make 14 stops along the Wasatch Front. Here’s the schedule:

June 26 » 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Macey’s 7850 S. 133 East, Sandy.

June 27 » 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Macey’s, 7859 S. 3200 West, West Jordan.

June 27 » 3 to 6 p.m., Walmart, 9151 S. Quarry Blvd., Sandy.

June 28 » 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Dick’s Market, 350 E. Pages Lane, Centerville.
