Author, television personality and entertaining guru Martha Stewart will be in Salt Lake City on Thursday, June 19, at 6 p.m. to promote her cookbook, "Martha's American Food."

Customers who want to meet Stewart and get a signed copy of her book must make a Martha Stewart Collection purchase of $50 or more in the home department of the Macy's City Creek, 50 S. Main.

The first 200 customers to present their cash-register receipts on Thursday at 4 p.m. will receive a free copy of the book — which normally costs $24.95 — plus a $10 Macy's gift card and a spot in line to meet Stewart.

In "Martha's American Food: A Celebration of Our Nation's Most Treasured Dishes From Coast to Coast," Stewart offers up 200 recipes, sidebars and color photographs that celebrate the unique foods from different geographic regions of the country.
