Alt-country songwriter Jason Isbell, formerly of the Drive-By Truckers, headlined a cool and rainy show Tuesday at Red Butte Garden in Salt Lake City.

In 2007, Isbell left the DBTs and went solo, honoring his Alabama roots by recording at the F.A.M.E. Studios in Muscle Shoals, and assembling musicians there for his backup band, The 400 Unit. He’s currently touring to support his fourth studio album, "Southeastern."
