Sixth Annual Brewfest • Sixteen breweries will share their brews amid the mountain air and live entertainment. Information, www.snowbird.com/events/brewfest/.

Where: Snowbird, 9600 Little Cottonwood Canyon Road

Admission: Adults $24.95, children age 6-12 $15.95, children age 5 and under are free

20th annual Heart & Soul Music Stroll • More than 30 bands will be performing on porches throughout the Sugar House neighborhood, sponsored by Utah nonprofit Heart & Soul, which takes music and performing arts to isolated people. The day will culminate with dancing in the street to music from a 20-piece big band. Information, www.heartsoul.org/.

Utah Scottish Festival and Highland Games • Events include heavy athletics, a bagpipe contest and highland dance plus Scottish-themed vendors. Information, utahscots.org/.

Where: Thanksgiving Point Electric Park, 3003 N. Thanksgiving Way, Lehi

Admission: $15 adults (includes both days), $10 ages 12-18 and 65 and older, free for 11 and under

Heber Valley Pow-Wow • Watch as Native American dancers showcase their skills in handcrafted regalia and compete for prize money. There will also be vendors with handmade Native American arts and crafts and food. This year’s powwow features Native American flutist and violinist Arvel Bird and mountain man Perry Boone. When: 5-11 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Saturday, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday

Where: Soldier Hollow, Midway

Admission: $7, children 6 and under free; $20 family pass includes 2 adults and up to five children ages 6-16; parking $3
