Whatever it is, Utah culinary schools and restaurants are offering cooking classes and events to help families celebrate on Sunday, June 15.

Beer Dinner at Fiddler’s Elbow

Celebrate early by attending a five-course dinner at Fiddler’s Elbow. Each course is paired with a beer from Moab Brewery. Menu includes steamed little neck clams, smoked tri-tip roast and banana split cake.

Learn to cook dinner for Dad

Learn to cook braised short ribs, fresh pasta and more for Dad — or take him with you — during this cooking class that uses Utah products. Meryl Van Der Merwe, Park City caterer, private chef and owner of Du Monde Luxury Home Services, is the instructor.

Burgers and beer in Ogden

Hearth on 25th is teaming with the Utah Brewers Cooperative, makers of Wasatch and Squatters beer, for a special burger and beer pairing menu. The menu is available for nine days beginning June 13 and includes an appetizer-size slider, choice of two burgers or veal patty and a dessert burger made with fire-roasted marshmallow and dark chocolate. Beer Fest at Snowbird

Sample beer from 16 breweries and enjoy a Southern-style barbecue with smoked ribs, chicken and corn on the cob during Snowbird’s sixth annual Brewfest and Father’s Day barbecue. Live music and summer activities are also part of the two-day event. The resort also will be serving a Father’s Day brunch at the Atrium restaurant.
