Show of the week » Xavier Rudd plays many instruments and wears many hats. Musically, the Australian multi-instrumentalist — playing guitar, harmonica, percussion, banjo and yidaki (also known as a didgeridoo) — has released his seventh album, "Spirit Bird," a mix of folk-rock with hints of blues and reggae. When he’s not making music, Rudd is an avid surfer, an animal rights activist and conservationist. Opening the show is his longtime friend Australian blues artist Ash Grunwald.
