Celebrate Astronomy Day » Professional and amateur astronomers from across the country will gather to observe astronomy day at Clark Planetarium with free hands-on demonstrations and activities during the day and a star party that night. Golden Spike celebration » Golden Spike National Historic Site is celebrating the 145th anniversary of the completion of the nation’s first transcontinental railroad with a re-enactment of the driving of the last spike. Ogden Union Station 90th Birthday » Celebrate National Train Day at Ogden Union Station as it observes its 90th birthday. Events include a LEGO model building competition, rides on railroad "speeders," a mini-train for children, demonstrations by a blacksmith, model train exhibits and more.
