Music notes: The concert of the century

The University of Utah celebrates A Century of Piano at the U. with a gala retrospective concert. Current and former faculty and students will perform solo and in ensembles in a wide variety of repertoire.

Featured performers include Ubeeng Kueq, a senior piano performance student who won the 2009 Utah Music Teachers Association concerto competition and is a former Utah Symphony Salute to Youth soloist; U. graduates Josh Wright, whose 2011 album topped the Bilboard Classical Traditional chart, and WeiWei Mao, a former child movie star in China; and faculty members Ning Lu and Heather Conner.
