Uinta Brewing Company is finally "legal."
The venerable Utah beermaker is celebrating 21 years of brewing by introducing its 2014 Birthday Suit beer.
The unfiltered sour farmhouse ale, with 6.3 percent alcohol by volume, has "underlying spice, zest and moderate tartness," but also is "crisp and refreshing," according to a news release.
The beer landed on liquor store shelves in late March and costs $12.99 for a 750-ml bottle.
The label for this year’s Birthday Suit was produced by Travis Bone, a local show print artist who also created the art adorning Uinta’s Cockeyed Cooper label and Uinta’s 19th and 20th Birthday Suit releases.
