Strings Attached Puppetry Festival » The Strings Attached Puppetry Festival features performances by the Cashore Marionettes and several local puppetry troupes and includes an exhibit of puppets plus a puppet playground where children can improvise their own puppet performances. Ted Ligety homecoming » U.S. Olympic gold medalist Ted Ligety is coming home to Utah for two celebrations on Saturday. Park City Mountain Resort is hosting a welcome celebration Saturday morning. Olympic sponsor JCPenney is hosting a separate celebration 3 p.m. at Valley Fair Mall.

When and where: 10-11 a.m. Saturday at Park City Mountain Resort plaza, next to the eagle statue

3 p.m. Saturday at Valley Fair Mall Plaza, 3601 S. 2700 West (Constitution Boulevard)
