Where: South Towne Expo Center, 9575 S. State St.

Admission: $12 (youths 16 and under free)

Brain Awareness Day • Take part in educational hands-on activities aimed at teaching the importance of brain safety. Activities include Mindball, a game where electrodes are taped to participants' foreheads so they can move a ball with their thoughts. Robotics finals • Dozens of robots created by almost 2,000 teenage engineers from nine Western U.S. states and Alberta, Canada, will compete at FIRST, the For Inspiration and

 Recognition of Science and Technology regional robotics competition. Winners go on to the national championship next month in St. Louis. Information, www.utfrc.utah.edu/.
