Jolly Green Smoothie » This healthy drink of banana, green apple, kale, spinach and coconut water has become the best-selling smoothie at Pulp, a new Salt Lake City juice bar. "It’s a good way for people to get their greens in a tasty, easy way," said owner Josh Marans.

Where to buy » Pulp Smoothie and Juice Bar, 51 S. Main (inside The Gym at City Creek); 801-656-2088; open Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Cost » $6.50 for a 16-ounce glass.

Giddy Up Garlic Dills » The Yee-Haw Pickle company in Park City makes these pucker-up pickles with Utah-grown cucumbers and lots of fresh garlic — but no artificial colors or preservatives. Pistachio black cherry macarons » Colorful French macarons, in exotic flavors, are the signature offering at Fillings and Emulsions, a new Latin and eclectic bakery owned by Adalberto Diaz, the 2012 national Pastry Chef of the Year, and Christian Kubak, the former sous chef at The Radisson Hotel and now-closed Metropolitan.

Where to buy » Fillings and Emulsion, 25 Kensington Ave., Salt Lake City; 385-229-4228; open Tuesday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Wednesday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Cost » $1.95 each or $20 per dozen.

Dolmathes » For those who aren’t lucky enough to have a Greek yiayia (grandma) who can make these bite-size appetizers, Greek Souvlaki’s version is a worthy substitute. Lemony grape leaves are stuffed with a mixture of rice, ground beef and spices and served with a side of traditional tzatziki yogurt sauce for dipping.

Where to buy » Greek Souvlaki, five Utah locations including Salt Lake City, Murray, West Valley, South Jordan and the Salt Lake City International Airport.

Cost » $2.99 for 4; $4.99 for 7

Matcha bundt cake » Matcha, a high-quality finely ground green tea powder, is what gives this mini cake a delightful green hue and unique flavor. Not too sweet, it pairs perfectly with a pot of warm tea.

Where to buy » Tea Grotto, 401 E. 900 South; 801-466-8255; open Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
