Dish of the Week: Hawaii Five-O from Red Hot

First Published Feb 14 2014 01:01 am • Last Updated Feb 14 2014 01:01 am

$5.50 » Hawaii Five-O

All the hot dogs at this tiny shop on Main Street in downtown Salt Lake City are made from high-quality American-style Wagyu (Kobe) beef from Snake River Farms in Idaho. This particular offering — a bacon-wrapped dog topped with pineapple salsa and drizzled with teriyaki and mayonnaise — stands out for its tantalizing mix of salt and sweet. Wash it down with one of the four fruity flavors of house-made lemonade ($2.50).
