Andy the Condor’s birthday » Tracy Aviary is celebrating Andy the Condor’s 55th birthday with crafts, nose-to-beak encounters with South American birds like Andy, cake and an opening of presents by Andy. More information, www.tracyaviary.org.

16th Annual Bluff International Balloon Festival » Thirty balloons are scheduled to fly in this year’s festival. Scheduled events include a 5 p.m. Friday Navajo taco benefit dinner, 3 p.m. Saturday arts fair and 5:30 p.m. Saturday glow-in and a Sunday sunrise flight over Valley of the Gods.
