P!nk finally coming to Utah (we hope!)

P!nk is coming to town — for real this time, we hope.

The pop superstar originally had planned to come to EnergySolutions Arena on Oct. 17, and then she postponed until Oct. 29 when her doctors told her she needed to rest her voice after she suffered inflamed vocal cords and laryngitis. That date never came to fruition, but she promised a 2014 show on Jan. 20.

P!nk is back on form, if the enthusiastic review of her Jan. 9 performance in Milwaukee is any indication.

"Between impeccable vocals and electrifying instrumentation, captivating choreography and colorful production, Thursday’s imaginative show came as close to perfection as anyone could witness at a pop spectacle," said Piet Levy of the Journal Sentinel.

With her voice in full swing, the show promises to be an extravaganza, with P!nk (née Alecia Moore) dive-bombing the crowd and playing acrobat throughout the show.

Her physical prowess (and rock-hard abs) shows only one side of the singer, whose songs transition from party anthems (such as "Raise Your Glass") to songs that celebrate her independence ("So What") and to ballads that exemplify her love of her daughter, Willow ("F---in’ Perfect"), to those that showcase the emotional growth of her up-and-down relationship with husband and motocross racer Carey Hart ("Just Give Me a Reason" and "True Love").

Now just keep your fingers crossed that the third time is, in fact, the charm.
