Amy Poehler is crazy busy.
She's the star of the NBC sitcom "Parks and Recreation." She an executive producer of the new Comedy Central sketch show "Broad City." She just co-hosted the Golden Globes with Tina Fey. She is the mother of two young children.
And she's returning to the Sundance Film Festival as the star of "They Came Together," playing opposite Paul Rudd in this romantic comedy that also features Ed Helms and Max Greenfield.
"As far as managing it, I mean, everybody's busy," Poehler said as she was promoting "Broad City," which premieres Wednesday. "And so I just have a series of doubles that attend various functions.
"So I may or may not be Amy Poehler sitting here in front of you."
Gee, she sure looked like Amy Poehler.
She's excited about going to Sundance to promote "They Came Together." It's about a corporate exec (Rudd) at a big candy conglomerate and the owner of a small candy shop (Poehler) who fall in love; it premieres Friday, Jan. 24, at the Eccles Theatre.
So if you see Poehler in Park City, will it be one of her doubles?
"No. I go there myself," she said.
