$9 • A dish imported from our beer-loving neighbors to the north, the poutine at The Annex starts with twice-fried, skin-on potatoes covered in crispy beef brisket, warm cheese curds and piping hot mushroom gravy. This is stick-to-your-ribs goodness perfect for sharing with friends on a cold evening. If you'd rather have it all to yourself, you can also upgrade the fries that come with most larger entrées to poutine for $3.

The Annex • 1048 E. 2100 South, Suite 110, Salt Lake City; 801-742-5490. Open Sunday-Thursday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Friday-Saturday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. For more information, visit http://www.theannexbyepicbrewing.com.
