New Park City butcher to provide local meats and products

The last authentic butcher shop in Park City, Star Meat & Grocer, closed in 1956, according to Tom Richardson.

The Park City Meat & Provisions hopes to fill that void.

Richardson, Jeff Little and Chuck Lamb have come together to open a business in Park City Plaza that will supply local Summit County Beef, Morgan Valley lamb, Gold Creek Ranch pork, Buffalo Run Ranch bison, Main Street poultry and Wight Family Farm turkeys. Lamb said rattlesnake, ostrich and alligator will also be available for purchase.
