Drink of the Week: Old Towne Tavern's Bloody Mary

$4 ($5 if using Absolut) • Bartender Britt Robison proudly describes a drink made from "scratch" with tomato juice or V8, vodka, asparagus, salt, pepper and just the right amount of Tabasco sauce. "It depends on how hot they want it," Robison said. The drink is finished off with additions of Worcestershire sauce, cocktail onions and green olives.

Old Towne Tavern • 7662 S. Main St. (700 West), Midvale; open 10 a.m. to 1 a.m., seven days a week.
