Rob Zombie / Korn

Show of the week • Middle America likes to rock as much as the coasts do, if you gauge the itinerary for this month's "The Night of the Living Dreads" tour that pairs up Goth-rock legend Rob Zombie and hard-rocking band Korn as co-headliners. The tour starts this Sunday in Reno, Nev., and hits Montana, the Dakotas and the Great Plains before ending Nov. 26 in Bethlehem, Pa. The tour's fourth stop is at the Maverik Center in West Valley City, and promises an electrifying night. "We've had a lot of fun touring and playing with Rob Zombie over the years," Korn frontman Jonathan Davis said in a statement. "It's been a while and those shows were so much fun. We're really excited about doing it again." Zombie agreed, saying, "Some of the best times we've had on the road have been touring with Korn, so we're thrilled to be doing it again!" Both have recent albums out: Korn released its 11th studio album, "The Paradigm Shift," in October; while fifth solo album, "Venemous Rat Regeneration Vendor," came out in April and has produced two hit singles — one of them a cover of Grand Funk Railroad's "We're an American Band."
