Apparently, there are two Jared Letos.
One Jared Leto has served over the past decade as frontman for the alt-rock band 30 Seconds to Mars, with his brother Shannon Leto on drums and Tomo Milicevic on guitar. The other Jared Leto has been an actor for the past two decades, earning early fame on the TV series "My So-Called Life" and then appearing in films such as "Prefontaine," "Fight Club," "Girl, Interrupted," "Requiem for a Dream" and "Panic Room."
Both Jared Letos are exceedingly busy this fall. The musical Leto is touring with his band, supporting its album "Love, Lust, Faith and Dreams," which was released in May. The acting Leto is being talked up for Oscar consideration for his supporting role in the upcoming drama "Dallas Buyers Club," as an HIV-positive transsexual woman.
