TV preview: 'Trophy Wife' is surprisingly fun

The title of "Trophy Wife" is meant to be ironic because Kate (Malin Akerman) is by no means a dumb blonde. She is, however, a couple of decades younger than her husband (Bradley Whitford), and marrying him means dealing with two ex-wives (Marcia Gay Harden and Michaela Watkins) and three kids. It's smart, funny and looks like a winner.
