Fighting poverty » A $150-a-head fundraiser for The Global Poverty Project featuring TV and radio host Larry King, "Taken" star Maggie Grace and country singer Josh Kelley drew about 500 people Saturday in Salt Lake City.

Big Ass Show » Music fans turned out to the annual Big Ass Show music festival hosted by local radio station X96 on Saturday, Aug. 24, 2013. Headliners included Panic at the Disco, Ed Kowalczyk of Live and The Airborne Toxic Event.
