Independence day » Cities all across Utah will celebrate July 4 with pancake breakfasts, parades, live music and, of course, fireworks. Here’s a list of where to go for Independence day festivities.

Rodeo » Two PRCA-sanctioned rodeos run out of the shoots this week. One of the biggest and best rodeos in the state starts tonight in the small town of Oakley. In West Jordan, the Western Stampede and rodeo starts Thursday. Both rodeo’s ride through Saturday. Go to www.oakleycity.com for information on Oakley’s rodeo.
