The Denver-based folk rock band, The Lumineers, will stop in Salt Lake City as part of its upcoming North American tour, promoters announced Tuesday.

The Grammy-nominated group will perform at Saltair on Sept. 17. Tickets go on sale Friday, June 7, at 10 a.m. at smithstix.com.

Dr. Dog & Nathaniel Rateliff will open the show.

The band's debut album, "The Lumineers" recently crossed the 100-million streams mark on Spotify in the USA. The album has also recently gone Gold in France, Germany, Australia, and Holland, and is Double Platinum in Canada and Ireland.

Can't wait to see the group? The band will perform on "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" on Tuesday, June 11. This will be the band's first national television since appearing at the Grammy's earlier this year.
