The company is seeking $15,000 to buy a 20-pound caramelizer and cooling table after experimenting with flavors like honey lavender and maple smoked sea salt.
The company started out with five air poppers in Mike and Venessa Dobson’s home, where the couple made the popcorn for farmers markets. Then they moved to a commercial kitchen and expanded to specialty stores.
The campaign runs through April 10. Gifts include bags of popcorn and t-shirts.
